Commercial Project Manager/Junior Export Manager
Devotra is an ISO 9001-2000 certified company whose activities are mainly focused on engineering projects in developing countries and upcoming markets. We offer turn-key services for any kind of project in the field of education and training from primary up to higher education, including vocational training. Furthermore we are a worldwide specialized supplier of professional technical equipment for United Nations field projects.
To strengthen our commercial team at our head office in Tholen the Netherlands, we are searching for a young and ambitious colleague who can take the position of Commercial Project Manager and who has the capabilities to develop further to Junior Export Manager within a number of years.
Your most important tasks and responsibilities will be:
• Search for interesting bidding opportunities
• Evaluating incoming request for quotations and tenders
• Produce professional and competitive offers, by sourcing the right product, the right product specifications and prices that match the request
• Determine in which specific way the offer can lead to a firm order
• Order acceptance and monitoring the implementation of the order in collaboration with the procurement department
• Have worldwide contact and build good relations with suppliers and customers
• To assist the logistics and warehouse department (if required)
• To travel to development countries (mainly Africa)
Suitable candidates will have the following skills:
• Solid knowledge of Dutch and English language; as well verbal as in writing
• Knowledge of French or Spanish language (for exploring new markets) is an advantage
• Experience with public tenders is a big advantage
• Good communication skills
• Commercial and technical background with affinity to engineering related subjects
• Punctual and accurate
• Flexible and proactive attitude
• MBO + / HBO education level
• Experience working in a commercial and technical environment
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; Word, Excel, Powerpoint
• Hands-on mentality and able to work independently
